El pasado mes de junio, el senador autonómico Miquel Jerez interrogó de forma pormenorizada a Elma Saiz, ministra de Inclusión, a propósito de la trama de las mascarillas del exministro Ábalos y su asesor, Koldo García. En cada una de sus intervenciones, Jerez se mostró directo e incisivo preguntando si conocía a Koldo García, si tenía su número de teléfono o si había hablado con él. A cada una de estas preguntas, así como tantas otras relacionadas con el asesor del exministro Ábalos, Elma Saiz ha contestado «no recuerdo» o «no recuerdo bien». La ministra insistió durante su intervención en que no conocía mucho a Koldo García como para tener una opinión de él, aunque haya coincidido con él en eventos, junto a otros 1.500 afiliados del PSN. La intervención de la ministra no convenció a Jerez, quien le reprochó su falta de memoria.
